What is a good coffee grinder to start out with?
CG asked:
I have never had a coffee
grinder, but I have coffee beans
. I want to be able to grind them, but I do not know what coffee grinder to buy. I can’t spend very much on it – I am hoping that there is a good coffee grinder for around $20. I am hoping to be able to buy one with more than one setting.

No, there are no “Good” coffee grinders for around $20.00.
What you get for that price is a spice mincer that will chop up and bash up your beans.
The Best starter ‘grinder’ a machine that actually GRINDS the coffee beans is a BARATZA MAESTRO…Depending on where you get it from it will run from $100 to $125…

You can get a Mr. Coffee Coffee Grinder, and they start about $12.00. I have had one for years, and it has three different grind settings: fine, medium and coarse. It is also easily cleaned and does a great job. You should be able to find them at Target or Walmart.

There are plenty at Walmart that are good for starters. Just go to your local Walmart and look around. Plenty within your budget
